Chocolate Brownie Bites

These brownie bites are courtesy of my favourite Nutrition girl-crush Nat, in Australia... her recipes are amazing and she's justa bout to have a baby! so when she posted these I knew I had to try them and then they were so GOOD I had to share them with you. Full of deliciously nutritious ingredients yet moreish enough to feel like a proper treat. Everyone needs sweet treats in their life and these are they xx

Ingredients

1 cup almond meal
  cup raw cacao powder
 ¼ cup ground flaxseeds
  cup almond butter
 ¼ cup coconut oil
 ¼ cup pure maple syrup
 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
 Pinch of sea salt
 6 squares of 70%+ lindt dark chocolate

 

Method

 

Add all ingredients expect the dark chocolate into a food processor and process until well combined. Using your hands roll the dough into bite-sized balls.

Melt the dark chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat. 

Roll the balls in the melted dark chocolate and add onto a lined baking tray or plate. Put the balls into the fridge to set for 30-60 minutes.
